Austyn's Photo Shoot

1/9/11: Austyn had her first photo shoot today at the Picture People. It took some bribing (stickers, balloons, promises of cake) and silly peek-a-boo games to get her to stay still without running for mommy. Here are some of our favorites:

Happy New Year!

1/4/11: Happy new year everyone! We hope you enjoyed the holidays and are ready for the new year. Austyn is ready! She's had a great 2010 and has grown up in so many ways (except in weight since she's only gained about 2 pounds this year)! Austyn went from taking her very first steps at the beginning of the year to running and jumping now. She also went from blowing her first kisses to giving big kisses and hugs! She has learned so many words and phrases now, her current favorites being "I do it all by myself", "I love you", "Oh my gosh", "pat my back", and "sit on the couch mama!" We're still shocked at how much she is talking these days.
