Merry Christmas

12/22/10: Well it's been awhile since we've posted anything. Austyn is really growing up and talking a lot! She talks in sentences now and even says "I love you mama, dada, noni, omi, auntie, grandma....! It's the best feeling hearing those words from her.

Austyn is getting ready to spend Christmas at Papa Ken's - her first white Christmas! We wish everyone a very merry Christmas and we'll post again soon!

Happy "Ween" (Halloween)!

11/3/10: Halloween was fun this year. Austyn got to help carve her pumpkin, go to the beach, then trick or treat with her cousins. She was a little hesitant to trick or treat at the first few houses (mommy had to hold her), but she started to get the hang of it afterwards and walk to the door herself. She wouldn't say "trick or treat" at the door but she did after we got home! She also would say "Happy Ween." When she got home she picked out each piece of candy from her bag and laid it on the floor!

Fall is Here!

10/28/10: Fall has begun and we've been enjoying the cooler weather! We're getting ready for Halloween- Austyn is going to be a ladybug! She has her first Halloween party at school this Friday and gets to dress up with all her friends!

Austyn has decided since she is almost 2 that she should now begin throwing some temper tantrums! Those are real fun for mommy & daddy! She's also talking like crazy- putting two and three words together now. She'll say things like "mama shoes," "bye bye dada," "I too cute" (which Omi just taught her) and she now says her name! She went potty in her potty a few weeks ago and we said "yay Austyn," now she says that when she sits on her potty or does something she's proud of!

Tugg is growing up fast! He's already doubled in size since we got him. Austyn loves playing with him, snuggling with him on his bed and dressing him up for Halloween!We've been having lots of fun - here are some pictures from the pumpkin patch, our trip to Arizona & Ojai Day.

9/6/10: We have a brand new addition to our family, Tugg! We got Tugg a week ago and Austyn has been having fun with her new little brother. He's 9 weeks old and is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He's still pretty little, but not for too long!

Summer Fun!

8/11/10: Noni came to visit last weekend and we went to the fair (Austyn went on her first carnival ride), played in the pool, walked the farmer's market and had some good quality Noni time!Beach day!
