Update

9/23/09: Austyn is getting 2 teeth! We felt them starting to come in a few days ago and now you can just barely see them (both on the bottom)! We'll post a picture as soon as they really show.

6 Months Old!

9/15/09: Austyn turned 6 months a few days ago and ate her first real meal last night and then again tonight (rice cereal)! She loved it and couldn't wait to get the next bite!

Grandma and Grandpa Kuencer came to town and BBQ'd for us last Sunday. We had fun visiting and Austyn almost got to try a taste of hamburger juice (mommy dropped some sauce on her nose)!
Austyn is still sleeping in her crib. We are going on night 5 and she has been doing okay (a little crying at first but sleeping pretty good throughout the night).

In the Crib!

9/12/09: Well we finally did it - we put Austyn to sleep in her crib for the first time last night! There was some crying (from Austyn and me) but we didn't give in and she slept there all night. She woke up for a midnight and early morning snack but went right back in the crib afterward.

She is 6 months old today!

Outings

9/7/09: Happy Labor Day! We took Austyn to the Birch Aquarium last weekend and she loved watching all of the fish. Here are a few pictures from the day.
We celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Friday and went on a "stay-cation" at the Island Palms hotel. Austyn came along and had a fun trip (her first night in a hotel)! We played in the pool, walked around Shelter Island, had dinner on our balcony, and slept in a nice king-size bed! Thanks mom & Cary for helping to make our anniversary more special!
