Growing Belly- 39 weeks

3/8/09: Three days and counting until the due date! Austyn's now about 20" long and weighs about 7 pounds (like a mini watermelon)!! I have to say that I've had it pretty easy these last 9 months ... no morning sickness, no crazy mood swings, no cravings in the middle of the night (except once around 10 o'clock when we ran to the store to get ice cream bars- partly because we felt we had to use that as an excuse at least once!). I feel lucky and hope labor goes just as smoothly!

I'm officially semi-retired! Well at least for next few months. We're anxiously waiting for her to get here. I've had a few more contractions but nothing serious. Nathan is the best husband ever and I could not have made it through the last nine months without him. I'm truly blessed to have him in my life. (Guess who wrote that!!!! Ha Ha) Hope all is well with everyone.

Growing Belly- 38 weeks

3/1/09: We're in home stretch now and Austyn now weighs about 6.8 pounds and is 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). I felt my first contractions yesterday, but I think they were just the Braxton Hicks (not the real labor ones)! My stomach got real tight a few times while we were driving around and we starting getting a little nervous. Nothing came of it though.
