Growing Belly- 33 weeks

1/25/09: Pineapple anyone? She now measures 17" long and weighs the same as a pineapple (about 4 pounds). Who'd have thought I'd grow a whole fruit salad and vegetable garden! I can tell she's getting big because I can barely tie my shoes anymore... and my regular tops are starting to get a little short so it's time to shop for some bigger clothes! I'm happy to say that my jeans still fit ~ however, my work pants are another story!

We just had a doctor's visit and everything is looking great. Also- we graduated from our childbirth prep classes last week. It was 6 weeks of learning how labor goes down, what kind of medication is available, we watched a few birth videos (ouch), found out when it's time to rush off to the hospital, toured the hospital's birth and recovery rooms, and we learned how to breathe and relax (we were a little disruptive one night as I had a laugh attack when Nathan was giving me my breathing cues - which in turn made Nathan start laughing just as hard as me). I think we're good to go and everything will just come naturally when the big day comes! We can't wait!

Growing Belly- 32 weeks

1/18/09: Now measuring about 16.7 inches long and weighing 3.75 pounds, she's the weight of a large jicama.... and boy is she growing and kicking these days. It's amazing how fast 32 weeks has gone by. We're ready for her to be here (not ready in the sense that we have the room finished, but ready to see her little face). We're getting excited!

The weather was gorgeous this last weekend so we spent both days at the beach...Nathan surfed and I lounged! I looked pretty sexy in my bikini too- joking of course! Till next week...

Growing Belly- 31 weeks

1/11/09: Two more months to go! She's about 16 and a half inches long and weighs 3.3 pounds (same as 4 naval oranges)! I feel like I've grown a lot in the last week or two. It's getting harder to put my shoes and socks on! My belly button is just starting to pop out a little ~ only the top half though! You can't tell in the picture but I'm sure in the next few weeks I'll have an outie.

Growing Belly- 30 weeks

1/4/09: Happy 2009!

Our baby is now about 15.7" long and weighs 3 pounds (same as a head of cabbage). Everything's been going great. We're starting to get the baby room ready ~ the crib is up and my hospital bag is almost packed! I know it's still early but I have this urge to get everything in place!
